As the co-founder, Executive Director, (2017 - 2024) and CZO (Chief Zayde Officer) of the Jewish Grandparents Network, I have established myself as a leader in the field of understanding the demographics, interests, and challenges of grandparenting and the changing dynamics of inter-generational families. I have assisted organizations in their efforts to engage and support grandparents and their families, and delivered presentations in communities and at conferences throughout North America.
My Journey
My life took an incredible turn seven years ago when I embraced the joyful role of being a grandfather and, at the same time, co-founded the Jewish Grandparents Network!
Through extensive research focus groups, and conversations with countless grandparents and the professionals who seek to engage them, I've gained a deep understanding of grandparenting today and dynamics of today's multi-generational families.
At JGN, I proudly wore the title of CZO - Chief Zayde Officer - and have had the privilege of sharing all I've learned at conferences and communities all across North America.
Of course, it is one thing to read, research, and write about grandparents and a completely different thing to be one. Each day I work hard to be the best grandparent I can be, and I learn by listening to my daughter, son-in-law, and, of course, my two grandchildren.
